Entry for July 08, 2008

So, as much you must have heard in news or probably nothing of it, curfew is over and left us back in the office after 5 days of unplanned holidays. We all got bored, did nothing and now after a long time spent home, still trying to cope with the laziness which is seeped in to us.

State government of Jammu and Kashmir is crashed on Amarnath Land row. Indian government is on verge of falling in a couple of days. If Prime Minister Manmohan Sing signs the N-Deal with USA, left parties will withdraw support and we will be having elections.

Ah man, this is all so foolish. J&K govt. shouldn’t have taken back the land they allotted for the pilgrims temporarily.

AND there must be a law that once you give support to some party or alliance to form the government, it can’t be withdrawn midway before the elections.

Anyways, I was unable to do the editing as the curfew was imposed upon the city and there was no chance that I could have reached the editing studio.

Love Story 2050 is not up to the mark. Waiting to see Jane tu ya jane na.

Bye for now!

Memories of a great summer..

Emotions and creativity must come out from the heart and mind from everyone. There was a time when I chose this space at Yahoo as my creative platform, to give myself some place where I can put my heart and thoughts as raw as they could be.

Time changed and many things happened in my life since past year and my mind was occupied by the very worldly thoughts of family and life… funny haan!

The shooting of ‘Ab jo bhi ho‘ is complete and as I just spoke to Navneet, my editor, we will be starting the post production job from Saturday onwards.

I don’t know whether I am going to like my film or not but the thought of creating something out of no where gives immense satisfaction and pleasure to me. It may sound funny but looking closer the output of this whole 2 month exercise were definitely sweet. I did what I always wanted to do. Wrote, shot and directed a film of a good length.

Got frustrated so many times, shouted at the bunch of teenagers, had fun with them and best of all… became 17 again.

A great summer… Indeed!
